Happy Birthday Entry for Lawn Fawnatics

Hello,

Here is my entry for Lawn Fawnatics 1st challenge.  They are celebrating their 7th Birthday this year! What a great milestone, they keep on making more cutesy stuff year by year. The theme for this challenge is Happy Birthday. I decided to do some ink smooshing on the water color paper top with Lawn Fawn stamps from Chirpy Chirp Chirp and Lovable Legends. It was so much fun to put together this card and easy too!  This card will also entered in Wednesday's SSS Challenge.

Hello! I hope you all have a lovely weekend! The weather is getting better, finally it feels like spring by my area! My sister attended her friend's wedding this past weekend and needed a card. I made a quick simple card for the occasion. This time I used different color scheme than the usual girly pastel colors. I Copic colored the lovely couple using TGF stamps "I do". They came out adorable. The bride's dress was colored in pear white color, it looks lovely in person. I added the letters I got from my stash along with key accent, mini rosettes, pearls, and gold sequins ( my latest addiction).

TGF Holdiay Card

Good Evening!

I want to share another holiday card I made using The Greeting Farm Stamp Holiday Anya 3 . I purchased her recently during the TGF sale. I use the ribbon and embellishment from the presents I opened for Christmas. Love how I can recycle to find other ways to use the items. I even hate throwing wrapping papers away.  Paper is from DCWV from my stash. The sentiment is from the Sparkling Season Clear Stamp, which they still have in stock at TGF.

I will enter this card for December's SSS challenge and Farm Fresh Challenge.

Lawn Fawn Christmas Card Share

Hi,

I hope you having a lovely holiday and ready for the countdown to the New Year!

I want to share a card I have made my 1st shaker card for Christmas, sprinkle with iridescent glitter, iridescent sequins, and snowflakes confetti. It looks better in person than on the photo.

I have used Lawn Fawn Stamps from Tobogan together. This is my all time favorite stamp to use I was excited I was able to buy this stamp before it was sold out. {YES!}

Here is my shaker card, aren't the penguins adorable ???!!!

TGF Fresh Farm Challenge - Back to School

Hello,

Today I want to share my card I made for the TGF Fresh Farm Challenge for September. I used TGF Cheeky Geeky for my card. She was one of the first stamp I purchased. I adore her school girl uniform and her glasses. Cute and chic! It always reminds me of the Brittney Spears' video " Baby One More Time"

Anywho, I want to try out coloring darker skin tones this time. Boy, I love how she looks, too cute!

In addition to making this card as a back to school theme, the deeper meaning of this card is an encouragement for students who is having a fresh start in a new school, new friends/classmates, new subject, etc.  Thanks for Watching!

SSS Challenge - Get in Shape Entry

Hello,

Summer is here I have been enjoying the weather outside and spent less time crafting.  I entered a "Get in Shape Entry" for SSS Challenge.  It is no workout, but to find different shapes for a card. I find it find to make a quick summer theme card.

I used the Lawn Fawn Swim Suit Season stamp along with dies from Spellbinders to make a shapely card and Lawn Fawn Spring Showers Die.

 

 

I like how colorful it looks and fits the summer theme! Have fun this summer!

The Greeting Farm Princess Anya #2 Card

Hello!

Hope you guys have a lovely weekend. I am sharing my card entry for this week Fresh Farm Friday - Put a Bow on It. This time I want to make a simple card using Princess Anya #2 (retired edition) .  I love TGF Stamps, they are super cute and fun to play with !!!

So far I own Princess Anya #1 and #2 and looking forward to collect the rest of  TGF princesses. :)

Here a an up close view of my card.  I am still practicing using Copics.

 

I added Simple Stories Enchanted Sn@p Cards for the background. Punched out using star border punch from EKsuccess on both sides of the card to give a nice simple layer look.

Follow by adding sequins, washi tape, bow twine I have from my craft stash. I know I should have use the fairy stamp for this card, but I am dying to use this stamp.  I still love how it turned out.

Totes Anya Card

Hello!

 

After keeping good a collection of Anyas in my craft hoard vault, I decided to open one to play with and practice my coloring.  I picked Totes Anya, cause she looks like a purse lover like me!

 I am making this simple card for this week FFF - Green and White Theme. It took less than 1 hour to color and put the card together which I am impressing considered I am a very slow crafter. I take about a day or 2 to finish my project.  Hope you enjoy!

 

 

 

 

First card for 2015

Hope you all enjoying the start of the new year so far.  For this year resolution, I am trying to craft more, using my stash than to buy more scrappy goodies. So far it's not working for me.... Hahaha..
With the sneak peaks from CHA 2015 show and clearances from stores, it is hard to resist from not buying.

Chi Chi Memories Nov Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Today I want to share my submissions for Chi Chi Memories November Challenge. I accidently stumbled to their website the other day and was in awe of their adorable digis. Their digis are affordable, I am tempted to buy some after the holidays.  CCM also offer monthly challenges, if you have not seen their website, I suggest to go have a look. I added their link at the bottom of this post.

Since I was able to score their Freebie, I am using for the current challenge:

When I saw the Girl in Umbrella Digi, I immediately fell in love with her and already choose which paper pad from my craft vault.  She is super cute!  The papers used for this card is from Hedi Grace designs, called "Sunshowers". I love their paper collection and how well it fits for the theme.  I colored the girl with Copics markers added extra curls on her hair. For the umbrella, I used Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry. I added drops of water to give a raindrop look, but it ended up looking like polka dots on the umbrella.  Lastly, added the orange enamel dots from Recollections I purchased from Michaels. I was surprised how cute she looks.

I enjoyed making this card that I am submitting my 2nd entry...with a Holiday twist! I used the same method as the first card, the only difference was I used the washi tape for the banner.  The washi tape is from Martha Stewart. The paper pad I used is from DCWV Cup of Cheer Stack I brought last year.  For the umbrella, I distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Evergreen Bough, clear emboss with mini snowflakes, which is hard to see.  I can see hints of it on sunlight.  To give an extra shimmering effect and to match the background, I added Diamond Stickles onto the umbrella. Last add the glitter enamel dots from Teresa Collins. I was amazed how it fits all together and how very festive it looks!

November IARC

Hello,

I hope everyone is ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday and Black Friday shopping!!! I can't wait for the holidays to start!  Here is November submission for IAR challenge. This month's challenge is to make a gift tag and the theme is Christmas.


Here is my tag I made for IAR challenge...

 

 

I was inspired to make a nutcracker theme from the Graphic 45 paper below-

 Isn't it stunning???

 

 

The image size on the paper itself was too large to make a tag, my original plan was set the tag like a stage performance. To fuzzy cut 2-3 smaller ballerinas adding the nutcracker and embellish with IAR flowers. I remembered I brought a nutcracker embellishment last year.  It is now lost somewhere in my craft stash or thrown away accidentally. 

 

Not wanting to give up my original idea, I thought I can buy a nutcracker embellishment at my local Michaels. I hit to 2 nearest Michaels and there was no stock of the nutcracker. I was desperate to stop by Container Store (yes they sell craft items), Marshalls, and TJMaxx. No sign of the nutcracker...

 

I found local paper supply store which have a small scrapbook area. These are what they have left:





 



 

 

 

The sizes of the nutcrackers are way off. LOL. I made my decision to buy the mini nutcrackers. The minis looked awfully cute, I couldn't resist not buying them.  The other one looks too Godzilla big.

 

 

After setting my ballerinas and minis around, I decided to change my original plan and make my tag with humor.  I have added the Martha Stewart glitter eyelash to add along with the flowers and as a tag hanger.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Love how it came out and how I incorporate with what I have.  This tag cracked me up every time I look at this:

 

 

Whenever I come across my nutcracker embellie, I'll make my original version of the tag.  I have also submit this tag to the Nutcrafters Challenge.

Shabby Chic Bottle

Hi All,

Today I want to share a project I made that has a shabby chic theme to it. This is my first try on altering a glass bottle making it look oh so shabby chic! I was impressed of how it turned out.  The colors makes me happy looking at it despite the gloomy fall weather we are having here. Here is how it looks:

Oct IARCC

Hi, Craftshopper here!

I'm so excited to create my first blog! Today I am sharing my project for IAR challenge Blog for October. This challenge is to create, use, or decorate a bag a with orange and black theme. Not only it was affordable, I had so much fun on decorating my bag for Halloween. It was very easy to make and great use for trick or treating! :)

Here is my alter bag for October's IAR Challenge-

 

 

 

 

I altered the acrylic purse bag shown below. The acrylic purse bag costs $1 dollar from AC Moore.

 

 

I used this $1 mesh fabric party bag from Michaels. I cut the fabric to the size of the bag and used modge podge on the surface and let it dry overnight. The next day I added embellishments from my stash onto the purse bag.

 

 

 

Here is my altered purse bag!  :)
